Ingredients
  

Smoothie Base
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries Use frozen for creaminess.
  • 1 small frozen banana Or use 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice for a banana-free option.
  • 3/4 to 1 cup milk of choice Dairy, almond, oat, or soy.
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder Whey or plant-based.
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt Or dairy-free yogurt.
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup Optional, to taste.
  • 1 pinch sea salt Optional, enhances flavor.
  • as needed cubes ice cubes Optional, for extra thickness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour the milk into your blender first.
  2. Add in the frozen strawberries, banana (or cauliflower), yogurt, protein powder, vanilla, and salt.
  3. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup.
  4. Blend until creamy, starting on low and increasing to high for about 30–60 seconds. Adjust consistency with more milk or ice if needed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or vanilla as desired.
  6. Pour into a cold glass and garnish with sliced strawberries and chia seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra greens, add a handful of spinach or kale. Ensure bananas are ripe for natural sweetness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours, shake before consuming.
