Method
Preparing the Cake
- Bake the cake according to the instructions on the box.
- Let the cake cool completely before proceeding.
Adding the Jello
- Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon.
- Prepare the strawberry Jello according to the package instructions.
- Pour the Jello over the cake and let it seep into the holes.
Final Assembly
- Refrigerate the cake for 4-5 hours until the Jello is set.
- Spread the Cool Whip evenly on top of the cake.
- Optional: Decorate with fresh strawberries or additional swirls of Cool Whip.
Notes
Don’t rush the cooling process to prevent mushy cake. Use a spatula to spread the Cool Whip easily.
