Fruits
  • 1 cup juicy strawberries, sliced Slice thick for more juice.
Vegetables
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced Use in moderation to avoid overpowering flavor.
Nuts
  • 1/2 cup toasted almonds Toasting adds flavor; don't skip this step!
Cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese (or feta, goat cheese) To your liking.
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup poppyseed dressing Homemade or bottled is fine.

  3. Crumble your choice of cheese over the salad.
