- Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in sugar while the tea is still warm if desired.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.
- Blend the sliced peaches until smooth.
- In a pitcher, combine the chilled tea with the peach puree.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Do not rush the cooling process. A good blender is key for peach puree. This tea pairs well with spicy fried chicken or BBQ. Enjoy it with friends and family!
