Ingredients
  

For the bars
  • 2 cans cans of crescent rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Best to have softened ahead of time.
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for cinnamon sugar)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Honey (for drizzling) Do not skip the honey drizzle!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press it into the bottom of a greased baking dish. Make sure it fits snugly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 3/4 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it over the cream cheese layer.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture generously over the top layer of crescent rolls.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-5 days. They can also be frozen for 2-3 months, just thaw before serving.
