Preparation
- Blend sliced peaches until smooth. Strain if desired.
- Juice the lemons to obtain about 1 cup of lemon juice.
- In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of water with the sugar until dissolved to create simple syrup. Let it cool.
Assembly
- In a large pitcher, combine peach puree, lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, and remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
- Fill glasses with ice and pour the lemonade over. Garnish as desired.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for the best flavor, and chill the pitcher before serving for optimum refreshment. Store leftovers in the fridge, stirring before serving again.
