  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter Any nut butter can be swapped.
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy) Almond, soy, oat milk, or any non-dairy milk works.
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (optional) Can skip if not a fan.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional) For a thicker texture.

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the ripe banana, peanut butter, milk, and yogurt (if using).
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and add honey or maple syrup for sweetness if desired.
  4. Add ice for a thicker texture, then blend again.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

Great served with toast or fruit. Can sprinkle cinnamon on top or add chia seeds for crunch. Store in fridge for about a day; alternatively, freeze in ice cube trays.
