  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 1 packet onion soup mix Lipton brand recommended
  • to taste salt Sea salt preferred, but table salt is also fine.
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour the rice and soup mixture evenly into the bottom.
  4. Arrange the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to trap steam.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes without peeking.
  8. Once cooked, remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different baking dishes, and consider serving with a side salad and garlic bread for an elevated meal experience.
