Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • ½ cup quick oats Not rolled oats—trust me, quick oats work better.
  • ¼ cup peanut butter Creamy peanut butter is preferred, chunky works too.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Local honey is a game-changer if you can find it.
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips Because who doesn’t love chocolate?
  • to taste salt Optional, but use sea salt for a sweet-salty combo.

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine oats and chocolate chips in a medium bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter and honey; stir until well combined.
  3. Scoop the mixture into 12 balls and roll them between your hands.
  4. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes for better texture. A good silicone spatula helps in scraping out the mixture. Feel free to substitute chocolate chips with dried fruit or nuts.
