Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, minced garlic, and onion powder over medium-high heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain grease.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9×13-inch casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Stir in the chopped cooked bacon.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and 3/4 of the cheese. Pour this mixture over the meat and bacon in the casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or salad. This casserole keeps well in the fridge for up to three days. Don't stress about perfection; it happens to the best of us!
