- Pour in the red wine and knead the mixture until fully combined, it should feel sticky.
- Shape the mixture into sausage forms or small patties.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once hot, place the sausages in the pan and cook slowly until golden-brown, turning occasionally, which should take about 12–15 minutes.
- Ensure they are fully cooked inside.
Serving
- Serve hot with lemon wedges, crusty bread, or roasted potatoes.
Notes
If desired, you can substitute the pork with chicken or a meat alternative. Storing: Cool leftovers, place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to three days, or freeze for longer storage.
