Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Use 80/20 for flavor, or any ground beef on hand.
  • 8 ounces egg noodles Regular noodles preferred.
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 cup sour cream Full-fat for better taste.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced Fresh preferred, but jarred works.
  • to taste salt and pepper Sea salt if fancy.
  • to taste parsley for garnish Optional.
Optional Additions
  • 1 handful frozen peas For extra veggies.

Method
 

Cooking the Noodles
  1. Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Browning the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and break it up. Drain excess fat after cooking.
Mixing the Sauce
  1. Add cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and minced garlic to the skillet. Mix until combined and heated through.
Seasoning
  1. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and mix until the noodles are well-coated with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

A good non-stick skillet is essential. This dish can be served with a salad for a complete meal. Feel free to add mushrooms or spinach for more veggies.
