For the Peaches
  • 3 pieces peaches, halved and pits removed Make sure they’re ripe but not mushy.
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted Use quality butter for better flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar Not too dark for the right amount of sweetness.
  • 0.5 tablespoon ground cinnamon Add more if you love cinnamon.
Serving Suggestions
  • plain Greek yogurt Can use any yogurt you like.
  • vanilla ice cream Optional but adds a nice contrast.
  • caramel syrup Optional for drizzling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Brush the cut side of each peach half with melted butter.
Grilling
  1. Place the peach halves cut side down on the grill and grill for about 3 minutes.
  2. Gently flip the peaches and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes, sprinkling the sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
Serving
  1. Serve the peaches warm with yogurt or vanilla ice cream, and drizzle with caramel syrup if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe peaches, ideally from a farmer's market. Consider adding chopped nuts or sea salt for extra crunch.
