Preparation
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. When there are about 2-3 minutes left, toss in the broccoli florets.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not walk away to check your phone!
- Add the cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Toss them together and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. If you like spice, sprinkle in red pepper flakes.
Serving
- Serve warm! Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
A large non-stick skillet is recommended for easy cleanup. Pair with lemon wedges for a zesty flavor. Double the batch for great leftovers!
