Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1/2 cup dandelion oil You can also substitute with olive oil if dandelion oil is unavailable.
  • 1/4 cup beeswax Use quality beeswax for firmer bars.
  • 1/4 cup shea butter Cocoa butter can be used as an alternative.
  • to taste essential oils Options include lavender, lemon, or any preferred scent.
  • to taste Vitamin E oil Optional but recommended for additional skin nourishment.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a double boiler, combine the dandelion oil, beeswax, and shea butter.
  2. Heat gently until melted and well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and add essential oils and Vitamin E oil if desired.
  4. Pour the mixture into molds and let it cool completely.
  5. Once solid, remove from molds and store in a cool, dry place.

Notes

Use silicone molds to avoid difficulty in removing the bars. Store in a cool location to prevent melting. A hot water bath can help soften the mixture if it’s too hard, while an ice bath will quicken solidification.
