  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup A kitchen staple.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Essential for richness.
  • 0.7 oz dry Italian salad dressing mix Adds flavor magic.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium.
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta Cook according to package directions.
  • to taste salt and black pepper Sea salt if fancy, regular if normal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lay the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, dry Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth to the melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours.
  6. About 15 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions and drain well.
  7. Serve the creamy chicken over the angel hair pasta and spoon extra sauce on top.

Notes

Prep your sauce the night before and warm it up before adding to the crock pot. Invest in a good crock pot for consistent results. Garlic bread makes a great side. Adding veggies like broccoli is an adventurous choice.
