Method
Cooking Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Tip: Make sure not to overcook the pasta; it’ll keep cooking in the sauce.
Cooking Beef
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Finishing the Dish
- Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, adjusting to taste.
- If using, add the seasonal vegetables and cook until they are tender.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For a fresh taste, you can toss in a couple of tablespoons of pesto or cream cheese for an even creamier texture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for 2 months.
