Method

Cooking Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Tip: Make sure not to overcook the pasta; it’ll keep cooking in the sauce.
Cooking Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Finishing the Dish
  1. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  2. If using, add the seasonal vegetables and cook until they are tender.
  3. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and mix well.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a fresh taste, you can toss in a couple of tablespoons of pesto or cream cheese for an even creamier texture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for 2 months.
