- Crush the Oreo cookies and mix them with melted butter to form the crust. Press this firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping and spread this mixture over the crust.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding mix according to package instructions using milk, then pour it over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
Notes
Make ahead for the best flavor. Keep refrigerated until serving and consider using different cookies or adding layers of fruit or peanut butter.
