  • 4 slices bacon Crispy kind
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning Hidden Valley is a classic choice
  • 2 cups diced potatoes Use whatever's in the pantry
  • 1 cup green beans Fresh or frozen works
  • as needed olive oil Don't skimp!
  • to taste salt Just a pinch, adjust as needed
  • to taste pepper Add more if desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Grab two large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Season the chicken with ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
  5. Dice the potatoes and toss them in olive oil until nicely coated.
  6. Layer the diced potatoes, green beans, and seasoned chicken on the foil, adding bacon as desired.
  7. Fold the foil over everything tightly to seal.
  8. Place the packets on a baking sheet to catch any drips.
Cooking
  1. Bake the packets in the oven for about 25–30 minutes, checking around the 20-minute mark.
  2. Carefully pull out the packets, watching for steam when unwrapping.

Notes

Cut potatoes smaller for more even cooking. Substitute ranch seasoning with Italian dressing or garlic powder if needed. For cheese lovers, add cheddar or mozzarella before sealing the packet. Serve with a simple salad or crusty bread.
