  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Use a brand known for quality for better results.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese Adds a rich texture.
  • 1 large egg Ensure it's fresh.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For authentic Italian flavor.
  • to taste salt Sea salt recommended.
Toppings
  • to taste toppings of choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, caramelized onions) Get creative with your favorite toppings!
  • to taste additional mozzarella for topping Because more cheese is always better!

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  3. Mix until you have a dough-like consistency. Knead with clean hands.
  4. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Add desired toppings and sprinkle additional mozzarella on top.
  2. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of marinara for dipping, or try low-carb ranch dressing. Consider using thin slices of zucchini as a topping!
