  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Sea salt preferred.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • cooking spray For coating the air fryer basket.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat the basket with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and form it into small balls or poppers.
  4. Arrange the poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
  2. Remove and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

If using frozen broccoli, thaw and squeeze out excess water. If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs. Don't skimp on the cheese. Serve on a cute platter for best presentation.
