For the trifle
  • 2 cups whipped vanilla cream
  • 2 cups fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Make sure the berries are fresh!
  • 1 pound pound cake or ladyfingers Cut into cubes for easy layering.
  • to taste mint leaves for garnish Optional for decoration.

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting the pound cake into cubes or using whole ladyfingers.
  2. In clear dessert cups or a large trifle dish, layer the cake or ladyfingers at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of whipped vanilla cream on top of the cake.
  4. Then, add a layer of fresh mixed berries over the cream.
  5. Repeat the layers until the cups or dish are filled, finishing with whipped cream and garnishing with additional berries and mint leaves.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

You can serve berry trifle in individual cups or one big dish. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days. For best flavor, enjoy it fresh.
