Preparation
- Start by cutting the pound cake into cubes or using whole ladyfingers.
- In clear dessert cups or a large trifle dish, layer the cake or ladyfingers at the bottom.
- Add a layer of whipped vanilla cream on top of the cake.
- Then, add a layer of fresh mixed berries over the cream.
- Repeat the layers until the cups or dish are filled, finishing with whipped cream and garnishing with additional berries and mint leaves.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
You can serve berry trifle in individual cups or one big dish. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days. For best flavor, enjoy it fresh.
