  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps to thicken the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil Used to coat the chicken.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with salt and vegetable oil until well coated.
  3. Spread the chicken on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15 minutes.
  2. While the chicken is baking, mix the orange sauce and cornstarch in a bowl until combined.
  3. After 15 minutes, remove the chicken from the oven and pour the sauce over it, tossing to coat evenly.
  4. Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and caramelized.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken in the orange sauce for more flavor. For extra crunch, toss the chicken in panko breadcrumbs after coating in the sauce. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
