Preparation
- Cut the angel food cake into cubes.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the cake cubes.
- Add a layer of mixed berries followed by a layer of vanilla pudding and a layer of whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Top with additional berries and mint leaves if desired.
- Chill for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
Layering can be very satisfying! Ensure even distribution of berries for a burst of flavor in every spoonful. Chilling helps meld the flavors together.
