Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss gently to coat the peaches evenly.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, making sure it’s even.
  4. In a separate medium bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, oats, and salt.
  5. Add the cold butter pieces to the dry ingredients and use your fingers or a pastry blender to cut the butter into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly and tender.
  2. Let the peach crisp cool slightly before serving.
